Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ – How much do you charge?
At Andy Has a Little Truck, we offer competitive pricing based on the size of your move and the truck capacity required. Below is our pricing for moves within Sydney (up to 30 km from Blacktown):
Hourly Rates for Local Moves:
- 2 Guys + Small Truck (20 cubic meter capacity): $150 per hour
- Additional Guy: +$50 per hour
The small truck is ideal for studio, 1, or 2-bedroom apartments or small house moves that don’t have an excessive amount of items. It’s also perfect for areas with difficult access or parking restrictions, such as tight urban environments where larger trucks might not fit. Multiple trips can be made to complete the move. - 2 Guys + Medium Truck (42 cubic meter capacity): $170 per hour
- Additional Guy: +$50 per hour
Great for 3- to 4-bedroom homes or apartment moves, the medium truck offers more space, making it a good choice for most residential moves. - 2 Guys + Large Truck (62 cubic meter capacity): $200 per hour
- Additional Guy: +$50 per hour
Our largest truck is designed for larger moves, including 4- to 5-bedroom houses. With a 62 cubic meter capacity, this truck is suited for moves that require the transport of many items or bulkier furniture.
Special Services:
- 1 Man + Small Truck (20 cubic meter capacity): Available on request for smaller furniture pickups or small budget moves where the customer assists with loading and unloading.
Additional Information:
- Remote Areas: For moves beyond 30 km of Blacktown or in remote areas, a higher hourly rate or mutually agreed-upon travel fee may apply.
- Minimum Hours: A minimum number of hours is required for all moves. Please contact us for more details.

FAQ – Do you charge extra for stairs or are there any hidden fees I need to know about?
At Andy Has a Little Truck, we believe in transparent pricing. We do not charge any additional or hidden fees for stairs, fuel levy, heavy lifting, or assembling and dismantling furniture. The only cost you pay is the agreed hourly rate, no matter what the job involves.
The only exception is if your move requires payment for a parking meter or tolls. If these costs are necessary for the move, they will be added to the final bill. Otherwise, there are no extra fees beyond the hourly rate.

FAQ – Do you guys move TVs? I have a very precious 75-inch OLED and a couple of 65 and 55-inch TVs in the bedrooms, but I don’t have the original boxes anymore. Should I do anything for the TVs or put them in my car?
Yes, we professionally move TVs of all sizes, even if you don’t have the original box. Whether it’s a 75-inch OLED or smaller 65 and 55-inch TVs, we use the appropriate materials to ensure safe transport. This includes thick removal blankets, sturdy cardboard, or crates, depending on what’s needed to protect your TVs. If you’re concerned about extra care, just let us know, and we’ll bring the right materials for the job.
Additionally, we have the proper tools to remove TV brackets, disassemble stands or legs, and securely wrap the screens for safe transit. If you still have the original boxes, we can help pack the TVs into them as well.
As a reminder, please keep your TV power cords and remotes separate and easily accessible. We recommend leaving the TVs powered on before the move to confirm that the screens are functioning properly, which is helpful for insurance purposes. Afterward, pack the cords and remotes into your emergency box to ensure they arrive safely at your new home.
