Furniture Removal Insurance Coverage
At Andy Has a Little Truck, we prioritize the safety and care of your belongings throughout the moving process. Our standard insurance coverage is designed to give you peace of mind while relocating, whether for residential or commercial purposes.
Public Liability Insurance:
- Coverage of up to $20 million.
Household Furniture Insurance (Including Loading & Unloading):
- Coverage of up to $20,000.
Goods in Transit:
- Coverage of up to $20,000.
Key Details:
- Free Insurance Coverage: Our standard insurance covers contents up to $20,000 for your move at no extra charge. However, please note that an excess of $750 applies for each claim made by the client.
- Coverage Radius: This insurance is valid for moves within a 600 km radius of the Sydney metropolitan area. For moves beyond this distance, please contact us for a tailored insurance quote.
Important Information:
While we provide standard insurance free of charge for all clients, it’s important to note that the coverage may not fully meet all your specific needs. We strongly recommend arranging additional home contents insurance with your insurance provider for more comprehensive protection.

Exclusions:
Certain items are not covered under our standard insurance policy, including but not limited to:
- Boxes not packed by our team.
- Fragile items without proper protective wrappings.
- Furniture with pre-existing structural issues.
- Livestock, plants, and pots.
- Electronic malfunctions.
- Items not suitable for relocation.
- Non-household furniture.
- Fraudulent claims.
If you require insurance for items on the exclusion list or have other specific needs, we recommend arranging additional coverage through your home contents insurance provider to ensure full protection during your move.
